Death is an inevitable but natural thing that exists in this world. But dying in an unnatural way is something very despondent. Jasper Howard was a school student and used to play football for Uconn team in Connecticut. He was only 20 years of age and many said he was a vibrant and a well groomed boy.

Not even a week was over, after he pulled out his side to a comfortable win against their arch rivals he was killed. The reason for Jasper Howard death was suggested as a fight between the four students after getting into a conversation after a dance party on Sunday night. Report suggests that he and another one student were stabbed by a gang that night which caused serious injuries and that night ended with lot of causalities.

Police say that the main culprit behind this is being searched seriously. When the school was asked about the activities of Jasper Howard, the teachers suggested that he was a good and obedient student. When asked the coach of Uconn, he said that he was a very good forward player and was a key to the team.

edsall one of his friends and colleagues said that he was a good human being and a good team player working hard for the team. When asked to his mother about this tragedy she said that jasper was a very good boy without getting into any troubles.

The most tragic part of this incident was he was about to become a father in a short while. The school said that it was a really sad day for them.

Research is an essential component of the sciences. It is used to learn more about topics we are all ready aware of, as well as to discover topics and concepts that we are not aware of yet. There are many different types of research that can be conducted by students, however, regardless of what type of research a student wants to conduct they will need to take the same basic initial steps.

#1 – Ask Questions About the World

The first step in conducting any kind of research is to ask questions about the world. This step will help the student to identify topics and areas of interest. This is a very important step as it helps to focus the student’s search for a research idea.

Questions can focus on things that the student is curious about. They can focus on things that the student has noticed. They can even focus on things that the student is interested in on a personal level, such as sports or recreation activities.

#2 – Select a Topic

The next step is to select a topic to research. This topic needs to be interesting to the student and it needs to fit the requirements developed by their Ks Teacher Organizat or by the person who assigned the research project. Topics are generally broad to begin with, such as an area of science. They are then narrowed down by asking questions and conducting general research on the topic.

#3 – Conduct Background Research

When the student has their research topic narrowed down to a sub-topic, they will need to conduct a general background study of that sub-topic. In this step the student will be developing their understanding of the topic and they will be searching for a very specific component of the sub-topic to explore in their research project.

#4 – Develop a Hypothesis or Thesis Statement

The next step is to develop a hypothesis or thesis statement. A hypothesis is a prediction about a cause and effect relationship between two specific variables. A thesis statement is a position that a basic information research project will try to support. Both of these things are used to focus a research project and the project’s written report.

#5 – Conduct a Literature Review

Step five is to conduct a literature review on the topic that you have selected for your research project. This literature review will want to address the research that has all ready been conducted on the variables you have selected for your project. It is also a good idea to conduct research on the relationship between the two variables that you have selected, if that research exists.

#6 – Develop a Research Proposal

The final step is to develop a research proposal. This step is basically writing up the main components of your research paper. It will include a preliminary abstract, an introduction, your hypothesis statement or thesis statement, the methodology that you plan on using, your literature review and an overview of what you think you will discover with your research. This is a step that college students usually have to take. It is not usually required of younger students, but it is a good practice to get into as it encourages you to complete the elements of your final report as you work on your research project as opposed to when you have finished it.

Research is an essential element of science. It is used to learn about topics we all know of the loan, and themes and concepts that we are not aware of yet to discover. There are many types of research can be conducted by students, however, no matter what kind of research a student wishes to pursue, they should take the same basic steps first. # 1 – Ask questions about the world The first step in implementing any type of research is to ask questions about the world. This step will determine the student's issues and areas of interest. This is a very important step because it helps the student to study for a research idea. Questions can focus on things that the student is curious. They can focus on things that the students observed. They can even concentrate on what the student is interested on a personal level, such as sports or recreational activities. # 2 – Choose one Subject

The next step is to select a topic for research. This topic must be interesting for the student and must meet the requirements developed by Ks Teacher Organizats meeting or by the person who attribp> In examining the subject stud

FROM CAMPUS TO CORPORATE

Posted by admin under Student World

“Necessity is the mother of invention”, a statement which has been proved since a long decades in different sectors of highly developed technological world. Starting from steam engine to computer, human mind is continuously trying to achieve success either by inventing new things or by discovering unexpected concepts from the expected. The whole world is based on competition, challenges and struggle. The requirement of dynamic personalities is greatly felt to run the technological world in a progressive way. Vast recruitments are on the process to get better human resource. Campus is organized in different educational sectors to garner multipurpose candidates for the respective job. Inside the classroom, the lecture is not enough to feed lessons into the mind of the students of higher studies like managements, computers, engineering, etc. Co-curricular activities, assignments on different subject matters of their respective education, case study, real-life experience, seminars and conferences etc. should be organized to make the students able to be fit in the corporate world. Proper etiquette and communication skills will matter a lot in this regard. A passive or an aggressive student can not achieve success in the campus in comparision to an assertive student. While attending the campus, it has been a mindset of general students how to impress the interviewers. For this, they mug up all the lessons taught in the class rooms. But, sorry to say, in between their preparation, they forget that “Education can be taught to someone but not Culture”. In the corporate world, if anything matters then it is sincerity and devotion to work along with excellent way of professional approach. These lessons cannot be taught to someone unless he or she is not sensible. It is also a matter of concern in the corporate world that “what to speak is not important rather than how to speak is important”.

The corporate sectors believe in performance. 24*7 has become the rule of these sectors. In this highly economic developing world, where no one wants to be idle, it is very absurd to think that one should work for only 8 hours a day. When a student is going to attend any campus to get selected for job, he or she must keep in his or her mind that the corporate sectors are full of challenges. Work pressure is inevitable. Hence, one must learn about how to be adjustable in such situations. During the academic sessions, the qualities like team-spirit, punctuality, creative bent of mind and the last but not the least honesty must be cultivated in order to lead the corporate world. Appropriate get-up or dress code is also a matter of fact.

We have heard about a lot of multi-millionaires around the world. We will look into a multi-millionaire, who reached that position by his own tries and hard work .He is Bill Gates. He has started his career as a software programmer and reached the well-to-do man in the world. He has made a mark in the society with his personality, vision and humanitarian tries done in American Society. We will look into one such cause, that is learning for the underprivileged.

Bill and Melinda Gates charity, a nonprofit organization formed by Bill Gates and his wife Melinda Gates. The main aim of this charity is to remove neediness by enhancing educational opportunities and financial aid for students coming from underprivileged families. There are a lot of students who belongs to different ethnic groups including Native Americans, African Americans, Hispanics and Asian and Pacific Island have privileged with the scholarship provided by Bill Gates charity. The scholarship varies according to the module, the students are studying for.

Other than giving scholarships to underprivileged students, the agenda of the charity includes giving big contribution to black colleges and those offices who provides scholarships to minority students.

Main advantage of scholar ships provided by the charity is that it does not have too much practice to follow. The scholarships provided by the organizations include Gates Millennium Scholars Program, which is given to high scholarly students who are from underprivileged family.

Need is the main eligibility criteria for the scholarship. If a student scored low but has the strength to make good result, he/she becomes qualified for the scholarship. The current score will not become a barrier for giving the scholarship.

The charity provides scholarships to national who are not US citizens. But they should have a permanent residence license. The aim of the charity is to spread Information technology to each corner of the society.

The scholarship provided by charity does not cover the entire charge of any of the courses for which the students are studying for. But it will help the families to reduce their burden and teach their children. The graduate student will receive $15000/year while an undergraduate student gets $7000/year for pursuing their studies.

The student who receives the scholarship can look for any on campus job so that they can completely give the guidance charge without depending anyone else or giving the burden to their families. Applying for any other scholarship prevent the students from the burden of student loans.

Any class works if you don’t want to pass the GED math test. It just simply doesn’t matter. To matter you must make a change in yourself. A change that you are willing to commit to!

  • You will make the time to study.
  • You will admit what you can’t do and learn it.
  • No matter what comes you will still work on your GED.
  • You will be you! Not someone else who fails.
  • You will not quit, ever.

Ignorance can be cured, stupidity overcome. Having the opinion that the world owes you a living is the stumbling block that will hurt you. In the the end destroy you, if you don’t escape its grasping fingers.

Just as you can lead a horse to water but can’t make him drink. So is a student that goes along with you but doesn’t really want the GED. When he fails, it will be your fault. You are his or her excuse for not passing! Don’t set the student up for failure! Check commitment and personal desire of the student. The student will be responsible for failure or success.

We tend to live up to our public image and struggle to make it less than our private self-image. The one we see in the still of the night and worry about. The weight of guilt is easier to place on others than ourselves. Guilt is meant to be put aside not on others or ourselves.

With a student’s drive engaged what would have stopped him before is just a little pause on the way to the goal. He doesn’t know he’s supposed to quit because he’s tired. Setting an example for his family means getting it done. He no longer has a taste for friends who fail or bemoan what if. You either help him or get out of the way. He can do bad all by himself.

No one walks our path for us! No one faces their fear but us. Failure is the option many choose. They quit. Claiming it was not what they wanted. That they will return one day and walk the path and not quit. Failure is for those who quit trying or are satisfied with not trying.

We are meant to better ourselves by not waiting on others to come and rescue us from what we should do for ourselves.

The goal was passing the GED math test. The measurement was did you? The cost was did you do what you had to? The results I leave up to you. Yes, a man may dream but not spend his life dreaming. Dreams should be lived if you are going to have them.

Ged Teaching, One Room Schoolhouse

In the evening the literacy classroom is full of expectant students. They seek to put a future GED mathematics test behind them. The teacher, once again, faces the task of teaching for the GED math test. No one said it would not be easy. All of this sounds easy until faced with actual numbers.

  • The counting numbers and values

  • Place value of numbers to the right and left of the decimal point.

  • Addition subtraction multiplication division

  • Rounding up and rounding down a number

What happens if the math skill is not present in the student? If a student doesn’t know the value of the number 3? A student can’t add 3 + 2 = ? These questions help define the challenges of students and teachers. Yep, the teacher must teach the information above. It is the interplay of two simple but old questions.

  • What does the student know?

  • What is the student required to know?

  • This is the basis by which to conduct a class or teach information. The classroom of students are not all at the same level of math skills. A teacher, really a mentor, must take each student from question 1 up to question 2. Even if the teacher can teach math, knowing math is not the same as teaching math. English may be a second language for a student. So a teacher must:

    • Diagnose the student

    • Use appropriate teaching skills

    • Teach with memory aids

    • Evaluate a student’s performance

    • Enhance student’s worth, skill and respect

Granted these are really simple steps that a teacher wants to use to reach the goals. Can you see the complex interplay of mentor and student? The dance that both engage in to enable skills transfer and understanding? In chaos there is order and understanding.

The nail that sticks up out of the floor is hammered! Will the stresses of learning and using math information lead the student to decide to fail? Some students pay a high price for changing or seeing the world differently from their peers or culture. GED education is not a one size fits all for every student.

In a GED class there are multiple ways a student or teacher can fail. Each student must be motivated by the teacher or mentor. The teacher must be flexible, aware of their students’ problems and leading them towards the goal. Multi-tasking seems to be a trait for those who teach.

Hang in there as we briefly cover info on math. Students need to know fractions,

ratios, algebra, geometry, mathematical rules, mean, mode, median, and the metric system. Students should comprehend above and how to solve math problems. The ideal classroom will be the one in which student demonstrates:

    • How they can store information in their minds.

    • That they can recall and use the stored information.

    • That they can do analysis, integration, synthesis and processing of information;

    • They understand test questions types, test strategies, and test logic.

    • That they can perform at or above the test standard.

A GED classroom often contains adults and teenagers together. Learning difficulties in students through physical and or psychological reasons are more prevalent in our students. Our students must change their outlook on learning. Buy into the belief that they too may be successful. One constant in their life is failure. Teachers attempt to turn this around and repair the damage of the concept of failure.

The poor GED mentor or teacher must be energetic because energy attracts, grabs and pulls a student out of their current orbits. If you want to move a strand of cooked spaghetti in a straight line you pull not push it.

Students will respond to a teacher’s care and expectations if the teacher is bold enough to ignore the students’ excuses. It’s alright to remind a student that what they thought was not possible is indeed proven possible.

A lot is learned in a GED math class besides math for both the mentor and student.
